GEO East-West Maneuver Period Extraction Based on Two-Line Elements and Wavelet Transform
Frequent orbital maneuvers of GEO satellites in BeiDou Satellites Na-vigation System(BDS)put forward higher requirements for high precision and real-time uninterrupted navigation service,It could reduce the impact of position-ing accuracy when we know the maneuvering period of satellites and forecast the maneuvering moments in advance.In response to this problem,this paper presents a method based on wavelet transform analysis of the Beidou GEO satellite data to extract the periodic items.To result of calculating the SGP4 model with the TLE data in a year shows that the satellite east-west maneuver cycles of BeiDou GEO-1,GEO-3 and GEO-5 are 31.3,27.3 and 36.7 days,and it provides the basis for the GEO satellite period maneuver prediction effectively.
