BACKGROUND: Apoptosis is strongly linked to the irreversible pathological changes diabetic retinopathy.To study proteins of apoptosis, we analyzed the protein expression changes of retina in db/db mice using isobaric tags for telative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ) approach.
