BACKGROUND: TGF-β1 plays an important role in pulmonary fibrosis via activating effector molecule smad2 and smad3.The study aimed to explore the effect and mechanism of TGF beta1/smad3 signaling pathways on apoptosis in mouse pulmonary fibrosis.
