Meta Analysis of Efficacy of Antihypertensive Agents on Vascular Structure of Coronary Heart Disease
OBJECTIVE: Out objective was to review literature and to evaluate the effects of antihypertensive drugs on the vascular structure of the patients with coronary heart disease.METHODS: Systematic search of empirical studies was performed up to August 2013 in Pubmed, Cochrane Library, Ovid EMB Reviews, EMBASE, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Chinese Scientific Journal Full-text Database, and Chinese Journal Fulltext Database based on the principles of evidence-based medicine,corresponding inclusion and exclusion criteria to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing the changes of arterial plaque volume by IVUS of coronary heart disease patients.
