The Effect of TPF Enteral Nutrition on Nutritional Status and Prognosis in Elderly Stroke Patients
OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of TPF-enteral nutrition on nutritional status and prognosis in elderly patients with acute stroke.METHODS: Ninty-four cases of elderly stroke patients were randomly divided into TPF enteral nutrition group (TPF, 47 eases) and standard enteral nutrition group (TP, 47cases).All patients were given EN support therapy in accordance with the heat with a BMI calculated all required to give.We measured the levels of blood glucose, hemoglobin, serum total protein, albumin, triglyceride, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein and gastrointestinal side effects, and the infection and the incidence of gastrointestinal complications on days 7 and21 after enteral nutrition, NIHSS on days 1 and21.
