Voxel-based Morphometry of Whole Brain Gray Matter in Patients with Late-life Depressive Disorder and Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment
OBJECTIVE: To explore the pattern of volume changes of the whole brain gray matter in patients with late-life depressive disorder and amnestic mild cognitive impairment by voxel-based morphometry (VBM).METHODS: Twenty-four patients with late-life depression disorder (LDD), 26 patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) and 34 normal controls had undergone magnetic resonance scanning.Gray matter volume differences of the whole brain were assessed using SPM8 to make voxel-based morphemetry (VBM) comparison between the patients group and the control group.
