OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of short-term endoexogenous insulin treatement on autocrine regulation of pancreatic β cells METHODS: To investigate the effect of endogenous insulin only, HIT-T15 cells was treated with 1.4 mmol glucose (low glucose control, LG group);potassium chloride (KCl group) or Gliclazide (GLi group) that stimulated insulin secretion.
