BACKGROUND: Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) is a common valvular lesion.The incidence of TR may be increasing in frequency coincident with the use of implanted cardiac devices, such as implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) and permanent pacemakers (PPMs).However, the role of lead-placement duration in the development of severe tricuspid regurgitation is unclear.
