Correlation between Cerebral Microbleeds and Circulating Endothelial Microparticles in Lacunar Stroke Patients
BACKGROUND: The incidence of cerebral microbleeds (CMB) in elderly persons without cerebrovascular disease was 5% and the incidence of CMB in patients with ischemic stroke was 17%.CMB is a cerebral small vessel disease with bleeding tendency.However, the relationship of CMB with circulating endothelial microparticles (EMP) remains unclear.
