BACKGROUND: A number of studies reported that there was a significant correlation between dyslipidemias and age, and that the prevalence of dyslipidemia increased gradually with age.Much more attention was paid to dyslipidemia or its characteristics of 18 years old adults, and dyslipidemia and its risk factors for the 60-70 year-old elderly has been rarely reported.This study aimed to investigate and to analyze the prevalence and risk factors of dyslipidemia for the elderly aged 60-70.
