Gut Microbiota Composition in the Elderly with Metabolic Diseases

摘要：

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the gut microbiota composition in healthy elderly vs.elderly with metabolic diseases such as hypertension, Type2 DM (T2DM) and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).METHODS: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 117 volunteers above 75 years recruited from communities in Zhejiang Province, China.They were divided into healthy,hypertension, hypertension with CAD, and hypertension with T2DM and quantitative PCR was performed to analyze gut microbiota composition.
