Relationships between the Prothrombotic State Markers and Leukoaraiosis in Aged Patients with Metabolic Syndrome
OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between prothrombotic state markers and leukoaraiosis in aged patients with metabolic syndrome.METHODS: A total of 350 metabolic syndrome patients in the affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University who were receiving treatment from January, 2013 to January, 2015.According to the results of head MRI, the patients were divided into LA group and non-LA group.The severity of LA was graded by its appearance under MRI and the Blennow scale.Then, the plasma levels of fibrinogen (Fib), von willebrand factor (vWF), D-dimer (D-D) and Prothrombin time (PT),thrombin time (TT), and activated partial blood coagulation time (APTT) level of the two groups were measured and compared respectively.
