Expression of TREM2 and CARD9 in a Mouse Model of Alzheimer”s Disease
OBJECTIVE: Recent studies show that inflammation plays an important role in mechanisms of Alzheimer”s disease (AD).Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2), which is a receptor on the surface of microglial membrane, and is closely tied to AD.Caspase recruitment domain containing protein 9 (CARD9) is an adaptor protein, and one study suggests that further TREM signal requires CARD9 in the dendritic cells. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between them and AD.
