Inhibitory Effect of Paclitaxel Liposome on the Growth ofA549 Tumor Cells of Human Lung Cancer
OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to investigate inhibitory effects and pharmacokinetics of arginine glycine aspartic acid (RGD) as well as microRNA-34a co-modified paclitaxel loaded nano liposomes (RGD miLPs-34a/PTX) on growth of tumor sphere ofA549 lung cancer cells.METHODS: The stability of pharmacological and pharmacokinetic properties of RGD miLPs-34a/PTX was evaluated by fluorescence spectrophotometric analysis. The tumor sphere model with the A549 lung cancer stem cells was developed and the distribution ofRGD miLPs-34a/PTX in the A549 lung tumor sphere was investigated by near-infrared cell imaging. The inhibitory effect of RGD miLPs-34a/PTX on the A549 lung cancer was detected by measuring the cancer stem cell growth in the tumor sphere.
