Clinical Research on Pathogen Distribution and Drug Resistance in Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Elderly Patients

摘要：

OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to analyze sputum culture and drug sensitive test of inpatients and to investigate pathogen species and drug resistance.METHODS: We collected sputum samples from 426 older inpatients (≥60 years old) and 74 non-older inpatients (40～59 years old) with acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) in our hospital during Jan.2012 and Dec.2012.Bacteria and fungus were cultured and antibiotic sensitivity was tested for any positive cultures.
