The Effects of Voglibose on Type 2 Diabetes in the Elderly

OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Voglibose on type 2 diabetes in the elderly.METHODS: Voglibose was given to 20 old patients in accordance with WHO diagnostic standard of type 2 diabetes for 12 weeks.Fasting blood glucose, 2-hour post-meal blood glucose, blood hematoglobin A1C, body weight, side effects and the frequency of hypoglycemia were analyzed before and after the treatment.
