Correlative Analysis of Aspirin Resistance in the Very Old Patients with Coronary Artery Disease
OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to evaluate incidence and correlative factors of aspirin resistance in the elderly patients with coronary artery disease.METHODS: A total of 515 patients aged 60 or over were included in the study.Patients were divided into three groups according to their age and possible fact of having CAD: very old patients with CAD (age≥75, n=285), very old patients without CAD (age≥75, n=56), common old patients with CAD (60≤age≤74, n=174).All of the patients had taken aspirin at least for 2 weeks or longer.
