Clinical Application of a New Miniaturized Echocardiographic Scanner in Elderly Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases

BACKGROUND: Modern ultrasonic miniaturization has evolved in the creation of a pocket-sized echocardiographic scanner which can provide black-white anatomic and color-flow images in real time.The aim of this study was to assess the clinical application of a new miniaturized echocardiographic scanner (MINI) for cardiovascular diseases in comparison with standard echo machine (STANDARD) in elderly patients.
