Changes and the Significance of Th17/Treg Immune Imbalance in Secondary Systemic Infection in Patients with Severe Acute Pancreatitis

OBJECTIVE: Th17/Treg immune balance is beneficial to stable state of immune system.We investigated the changes and significance of Th17/Treg immune imbalance in secondary systemic infection in patients with severe acute pancreatitis.METHODS: Twenty-one patients with severe acute pancreatitis and secondary systemic infection (infection group), and 25 patients with severe acute pancreatitis alone (non-infection group) were selected, and 20 healthy cases underwent annual health check-up (control group) in this study.The expression levels of Th1 7/Treg cells and related cytokines were compared between the groups.
