BACKGROUND: Post-stroke depression (PSD) is one of common complications after stroke.Studies showed that brain-derived neurotrophic factor is involved in depression onset.This study aimed to explore the association of post-stroke depression (PSD) with the scale of stroke deficit and serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in the elderly.
