BACKGROUND: The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) gene promotor-238 and hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation in patients with malignant tumors after chemotherapy.
