BACKGROUND: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between ambulatory blood pressure and blood pressure variability and ankle brachial index (ABI) in elderly men with essential hypertension.METHODS: Elder patients with essential hypertensive (n=160) were divided into two groups according to the ABI.The ambulatory blood pressure monitoring was performed in all the patients.
