Objective: To evaluate the outcome of systemic chemotherapy followed by definitive intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) to the primary and cervical nodal disease as well as local treatment to distant metastasis as first-line treatment for patients with newly diagnosed metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
