Learning and Development Guide for Children Ages 3-6: Finding Foothold in China”s Native Culture and Reality

摘要：

In order to provide young children with a suitable, supportive environment, we have to start from raising public awareness about the scientific knowledge on early child development.As a result, the Ministry of Education decides to learn from international experience and develop China”s Learning and Development Standard for Children Ages 3-6 (Hereinafter referred to as The Guide) to increase public knowledge about child development, ”help kindergarten teachers and parents understand the basic patterns and characteristics of the learning and development of young children ages 3 to 6, establish reasonable goals for child development, and implement scientific child care and education”.
