The Behavioral Features and Brain Mechanisms of Emotional Cognition in Infants
The current measurement of the behavioral, electrophysiological and blood oxygen level dependent (BOLD) signals provides a rich source of information about the neural mechanisms underlying ongoing cognitive events in the infants” brain.The goal of this lecture is to give an introduction and to provide an overview of how neuroscience methods can be used to elucidate brain and cognitive development in infants in the aspect of emotion, social cognition, language, learning, mathematics, music, and movement cognition.
