健康工学創成に向けて健康工程发展与前瞻
With the increasing of aging population, aging problem is becoming one of the most serious social problems that was never been experienced in human history. To construct the happy and healthy aging society, innovation of Health Engineering is necessary. Our research aims to construct the solid scientific foundation of health engineering. The following applications with respect to the human”s health levels are targeted:Welfare support of healthy elderly people so as they communicate and contribute to the societies more easily and safely with happiness;Training and health promotion; Health prediction and prevention; Human care support; Rehabilitation of human motor functions and high order cognitive functions, by developing novel sensing and information technologies, virtual reality and robotics.In detail, above health engineering researches can be performed by using advanced measurement and computer simulation technologies, such as biofeedback, NIRS and immersion-type interactive dynamic simulation. It also shows detailed examples of our robotics researches related to above applications such as an up arms” rehabilitation robot system, a virtual shopping street to evaluate the elderly people”s high order brain cognitive functions in their everyday life and so on.
