A New Method for State-of-charge Estimation for Li-ion Batteries Based on Improved Interpretative Structural Modeling Method
This paper proposed a new method for the state-of-charge (SOC) estimation of Li-ion batteries. The SOC is a critical index of the battery performance evaluation. However the Li-ion battery has a very fiat discharge platform which makes it hard to get high evaluation accuracy through general method such as Ampere-hour Integral Method (AHIM) or Open-circuit Voltage Table Look-up Method. Therefore we proposed an algorithm switching method (ASM).In traditional Interpretative Structural Modeling Method (ISM), the Boolean logic of mental model ignores the fuzziness of human cognition. Therefore we proposed an Improved Interpretative Structural Modeling (IISM) method in which the Boolean logic of element relation is mapped into an interval of ”0, 1”.In order to verify the applicability of the proposed method, we have made the simulation experiment of an IFP1865140-type battery. The good accuracy and robustness of the simulation based on the actual data have verified the proposed method.
