The knowledge and attitude of indoor air quality for the salon workers in Taiwan
This study aimed to investigate the knowledge and attitude of indoor air quality for the salon workers in Taiwan.An instrument was used for measuring salon worker”s attitudes toward indoor air quality.The questionnaire was distributed to the current workers in Taipei city to gather the representative sample.A comparative test was performed for the graduate students in the university.The overall mean values of knowledge and attitudes for workers were 4.86 and 4.55, and 5.267 and 5.106 for university students respectively indicating.The results reveal that university students were significantly more knowledgeable than salon workers.Overall, newspaper and magazine were the chief source of knowledge and friends and family are the lowest.
