摘要：

The development of skill and material understanding comes from a prolonged focused effort over time.At least this is what I have found.I am stating the obvious,but feel I need to in order to remind myself of what is most dear to my heart and what drives me;and that is hands on practice and the idea of learning through making.Over this last year I have been challenged time and time again to scrutinize my every thought and action as I approached the end of my BA studies.I felt an enormous pressure to intellectualise my work in order to give it substance and rigor.I wonder if I am alone in feeling this pressure?
