Screening of cognitive impairment by Montreal Cognitive Assessment in Chinese patients with acute minor stroke and transient ischemic attack:a pilot study

We aimed to establish the cutoff value of Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-Beijing) in screening for vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) after minor stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA) within 2 weeks.Total 80 acute minor stroke patients and 22 TIA patients were recruited.They received the MoCA-Beijing and a formal neuropsychological test battery.
