Histone modifications change with age and dietary restriction in mouse hippocampus and frontal cortex
Aim:The dysregulation of epigenetic control of gene expression may be involved in brain aging.Identifying new histone modifications in brain,especially in hippocampus and frontal cortex,which may be involved in aging,has a potential to provide critical insights into the neurobiology of aging and possibly the etiology of neurodegenerative disorders.
