Aims:To develop a simple and reliable targeted metabolimics method for quantification of serum potential metabolic risk factors of cardiovascular disease (CVD) by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) and analyze their association with carotid plaque and CVD risk factors.
