An autopsy case of Aspergillums myopericarditis combined with chronic lymphocytic leukemia

To the editor:When acute infectious pericarditis accompanied by some degree of myocarditis,we call it acute infectious myopericarditis,many of which were caused by viral infections in developing countries”1”.Aspergillums myopericarditis is rare,only accounting for 0.3 ％ of infectious myopericarditis,and most case reports citing this rare consequence have been in immunosuppressed individuals or those with pre-existing heart disease”2”.We describe here a case of Aspergillus myopericarditis confirmed by Autopsy in an 81-year-old male patient with Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) for 8 years.
