Flower-like mesoporous carbon as a high-performance anode for sodium ion batteries
We report a facile strategy for preparing flower-like mesoporous carbon through directly pyrolyzing zinc citrate and sub-sequent washing of the pyrolysis product with diluted HCl.The zinc citrate acted as carbon precursor,the template and the inducer of flower-like structure simultaneously.The obtained flower-like mesoporous carbon consists of 2D nanosheets architecture with developed porosity,and its BET surface area and pore volume are as high as 1 382 m2·g-1 and 2.02 m3·g-1,respectively.The unique structure have favorable multiple synergistic effects,beneficial for high-performance energy storage applications.The reversi-ble sodium and lithium storage capacity reach as high as of 438.5 mAh·g-1 and 1 370 mAh·g-1 at 50 mA·g-1,respectively.
