Interfacial interaction of cuprous oxide/graphene and its impact on Li-ion storage performance

In this paper, cuprous oxide/graphene hybrid material(Cu2 O/GNSs)was prepared by a simple solution method and subsequent annealling. The morphology and structure of as-prepared Cu2 O/GNSs composite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and X-ray photoelectron spectra(XPS).The Cu2 O/GNSs,used as an anode material, exhibits a reversible capacities of 448 mAhg-1 for the first charge process and 613 mAhg-1 after 90 cycles at 50 mAg-1,respectively.At 500 and 1 000 mAg-1,the reversible capacities can reach 444 and 346 mAhg-1,which are 99%and 77%of that at 50 mAg-1.The high capacity and excellent rate performance could be attibuted to the synergistic effect between Cu2 O and GNSs.
