Study of Surface hardness for the heat-compressing Poplar parquet reinforcing
Technical process for got heat-compressing Poplar parquet with high surface hardness and best structure has been investigated in this paper.With this technical process Poplar can use to make composite Poplar flooring.With this technical process not only surface hardness of parquet is high but also surface panel is thinner.So we can decrease the costs save rare fine timbers.The following conclusions can be drawn from this study: When the thickness of face panel is 5mm or 6mm,the surface hardness of the heat-compressing Poplar parquet is higher than oak floorboard”s and bamboo parquet”s.It”s surface hardness close to Chinese oak”s and up to medium-hard wood”s surface hardness.When the thickness of face panel lower than 5mm,deformations would be occur on core panel.
