Pipeline Integrity Management and Risk Assessment for Offshore Pipeline
(0) In the past,the pipeline industry relied on years of research and experiences to develop a management system to ensure pipeline integrity.The pipeline integrity fulfils the design requirements throughout its whole life cycle.And transfer of vital information from design to operation.To manage pipeline integrity during the entire operational life of the system is the main purpose of Pipeline Integrity Management(PIM).This paper is based on DNV GL recommend practice RP-F116 “Integrity management of submarine pipeline Systems”.We also link to DNV GL related offshore pipeline standards and recommend standard in the paper.The purpose is to give an introduction to user for how to ensure that the operation of offshore pipeline systems are safe and reliable and conducted with due regard to public safety,environment and properties.One reference case is shown in the paper,to descript a successful data handover through EPCI to operation phase,optimal inspection planning based on risk assessment and emergency response planning.
