Numerical Simulation Of Pipelines Based On Different Spring Models

Based on the long distance and big span of gas transmission along the Xin Yue-Zhe pipelines, and pipeline route acrossed the active fault which is in such an earthquake-prone area.Considering the influence of the different constraints of soils on the pipelines, introducing a variety of spring element in ANSYS software to the pipeline and mechanical properties of nonlinear analysis,we used finite element method for the numerical analysis of mechanical performance of buried pipes. The model of piping stress equivalent and the finite element calculation model used to analysis research on the mechanical performance analysis of pipeline has been set up with a variety of springs, and the fault interaction analysis of the long distance pipeline was calculated by high performance computer under the condition of pipe soil.Compared with field test measurements verify the accuracy of the model calculation results in this paper. The research results show that compared with pipeline stress and the strain value given, the spring model of Combin39 suit for the Numerical Simulation of pipeline under the different constraints of soils on the pipeline, and can give precise conclusion.Other spring models need meet some specific operating, and have a certain error.
