Consensus control for nonlinear multi-agent systems with packet dropouts and measurement noises

This paper discusses the consensus problem of discrete-time nonlinear multi-agent systems. In the multiagent systems, the communications between agents are in a networked environment with noises and occasional packet dropouts. The packet dropouts of measurements are modelled by a binary switching sequence satisfying Bernoulli distribution. In the multi-agent systems, the inherent nonlinear dynamics are also considered. The main purpose of this paper is to design a controller for each single agent based on the informations obtained from its neighbour agents and its own sensor, such that all the agents can reach the mean-square robust consensus when packet dropouts and interference noises occur,in addition, all the agents can reach average consensus when the communication environment is free from packet dropouts and interference noises. It is proved that the designed distributed controller can gareente in Theorem provided by this paper. Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the designed controller.
