Outdoor Performance of CIGS Modules in Different Climates
Outdoor product reliability testing of MiaSolé Glass-Glass CIGS Modules in different environments is an important aspect of determining the overall product durability and quality during real world conditions.The multi-year performance of MiaSolé modules was recorded and analyzed for several distinct climate zones – Phoenix,Arizona for hot and dry conditions,Miami,Florida for hot and humid conditions,Medina,Ohio for continental/seasonal snowy conditions,and at MiaSole headquarters in Santa Clara,California for a mild Mediterranean climate.Improvements in degradation rates over several generations of modules that were demonstrated in accelerated damp heat testing are also reflected in the outdoor performance.A module temperature model was also verified with the outdoor performance data.
