Isolation of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria and its effects on Vanilla planifolia plant growth
Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Ames.) is a heavily-phosphorus absorption crop.Application of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria can reduce fertilizer application and promote plant growth.Six phosphate-solubilizing bacteria were isolated from vanilla plant rhizosphere soil by using National Botanical Research Institute”s phosphate growth medium (NBRIP).After three days incubated in liquid NBRIP medium,the soluble P content of strain V-29 reached to 475.3μg?ml-1,which is highest among all the isolates.The bacterium V-29 was identified as Burkholderia spp.based on 16S rDNA sequences.A solid fermented bioorganic fertilizer was prepared by inoculating V-29 into cattle manure and fermented 5 days inside greenhouse.The final active V-29 content is 108 cfug -1.
