Synthesis Of Natural Aryl Glycosides, Vanillyl Alcohol Derivatives

　　With increasing attention paid to the medicines obtained from the herbal sources,people find they are of high efficiency and low toxicity as well as attractive for being utilized in medical practices instead of synthetic ones or together with them.Through examination of chemical composition of medicinal plants,many bioactive compounds are obtained,one of which is aryl glycosides.However,obtaining similar substances from plants raises many difficulties as they demand the big expenses of the often inaccessible natural raw materials.Thus,this study provides a first synthetic route for preparing glycosides and aryl glycosides of variety of structures,including previously undiscovered in nature,but having potential biological activity.
