Countermeasure against probabilistic blinding attack in practical quantum key distribution systems
In a practical quantum key distribution (QKD) system,imperfect equipments,especially single-photon detector,can be eavesdropped on by blinding attack.However,Some researchers proposedthat monitoring of APD current can reveal Eve”s blinding attack,as most of the published blindingattack will lead to high photocurrent.However,when limited to the precision of practical measure-ment equipment,if an attack only slightly increases the photocurrent,this intuitive countermeasureseem to fail to discover Eve”s presence.
