Biological Control of Postharvest Fungal Diseases of Fruit by Antagonistic Yeasts
Postharvest decay caused by fungal pathogens is the cause of significant economic losses in fruit industry.Some of these pathogenic fungi including the genera of Penicillium, Alternaria and Fusarium are also the source of mycotoxins that are harmful to humans.
