Preliminary Study on Biological Control of Alfalfa Crown and Root Rot Using Weak Pathogenic Fusarium spp.

摘要：

Alfalfa crown and root rot caused by Fusarium spp.is a kind of destructive disease of alfalfa.It can cause severe yield losses and quality reduction.In the interactions between pathogen and plant, nonpathogenic and weak pathogenic strains can induce plant resistance to strong pathogenic strains.Non-pathogenic or weak pathogenic Fusarium spp.widely exist in nature and always have the same ecological niches and living conditions with strong pathogenic species.Biological control based on the competition of ecological niches can realize a more stable and long-term control of plant disease than chemical control.
