Early Experience of Setting up a Fragility Hip Fracture Registry in Hong Kong

摘要：

The incidences of fragility hip fracture increase with aging population and account for the fourth major cause of hospital bed occupancy in Hong Kong.With multidisciplinary intervention, acute management and postoperative rehabilitation can be done with satisfactory outcome.The subsequent secondary fractureswhich commonly occur within the first 2 years after the first fracture can be prevented.
