An Exploration of Reformation in Undergraduate Education of Industrial Engineering Major
Being an interdisciplinary subject of technology and management, IE deals with the optimization of complex system and process, and has its particular academic characteristic and feature.IE has just been introduced to China about thirty years.In the past decades, IE has played more and more important role in the economic and social development It has been widely applied in many fields of national economy and public administration.It is necessary to cultivate high qualified talents of IE and undergraduate education of IE in university is one most important ring of this chain.This paper presents some explosion and reformation in undergraduate education of IE major in GDUT.The paper discusses the improving research of curricular system,experimental system, teaching methods and learning mode and practice teaching system and its implementing Finally, this paper introduces the satisfied results of these explosion and reformation.
