Introduction2Professor Malcolm Smith who was an Australian academic specializing in Japanese Law once claimed that only Japanese people are obsessed by the notion of ”legal consciousness”.According to him, in Canada and Australia, people are generally not concerned about what they think or what other people think about their legal consciousness.
