Study of Solution Characteristics and Field Application of Functional Polymer Surfactant
To evaluate the solution characteristics of functional polymer surfactant (FPS) in the laboratory, injection and production data from FPS field tests were analyzed.The results show that FPS solution has higher viscosity and better emulsification, stability and oil displacing ability than the same concentration of ordinary polymer.The FPS system has good injection and profile adjustment capabilities in the oilfield development process, which enhances the degree to which thin and otherwise poor oil layers are used.FPS flooding implemented after polymer flooding had a positive effect in that it decreased the water cut and increased oil recovery to some extent.However, FPS flooding implemented after water flooding had a more significant positive effect than FPS flooding implemented after polymer flooding.
