Ⅰ.An introduction: current debates on Asia”s century Since the late 20th century the miracle of economic growth in Asia led by China and India has given rise to a prediction that the 21st century will be the century of Asia.However, given the high diversity of cultures, history, economic interests and political positions of the huge continent, there have never been a shortage of debates and controversies in the course of Asia”s development and integration.Recently some debates on the notion of Asia”s century are particularly worth noting.
